Background documentationOpen Data Collections Check

You can use the DC520 hook point activity to check for all operations on the routing, up to and including the current operation, to ensure that the required data parameters for all associated DC groups have been collected for the current SFC number(s).

This activity is usually used with the PRE_START, PRE_COMPLETE, and POST_COMPLETE hook points for an operation or resource.

Rule

The following table describes rule and settings that you can change for the DC520 activity in Activity Maintenance:

Rule

Setting

CHECK_CURRENT_OPER_ONLY

This rule applies when Open Data Collections Check is used with the PRE_COMPLETE or POST_COMPLETE hook points:

TRUE (default): The system checks open data collections for the SFC number’s current operation (routing step).

FALSE: The system checks open data collections for the SFC number’s current and all previous operations (routing steps).

If Open Data Collections Check is used with the PRE_START and POST_START hook points, the system always checks for the SFC number’s all previous operations (routing steps).
