You use this activity to create messages of any type and send them to one or more user groups on the shop floor for any reason (see Message).

Rules

The following table describes rules and settings you can define for this activity in Activity Maintenance:

Setting

MATERIAL

If set to YES, the Material field appears on the Create Message screen.

OPERATION

If set to YES, the Operation field appears on the Create Message screen.

RESOURCE

If set to YES, the Resource field appears on the Create Message screen.

SFC

If set to YES, the SFC field appears on the Create Message screen.

WORK_CENTER

If set to YES, the Work Center field appears on the Create Message screen.
