Procedure documentationAssigning Users as Supervisors

 

You can assign a user as a supervisor over a cost center (see Cost Center).

Prerequisites

You have created cost center records in Cost Center Maintenance (see Cost Center Maintenance).

Procedure

  1. On the User Maintenance screen, on Supervisor tab page, insert one or more rows in the table to specify supervised cost centers.

  2. On the Supervised Cost Center Details screen, enter the required data:

    Field

    Description

    Valid From

    Specifies when Labor Tracking begins using this row of information for this user (see Labor Tracking)

    Valid To

    Specifies when Labor Tracking stops using this row of information for this user

  3. Assign one or more cost centers to be supervised.

  4. Apply your changes.

  5. If you inserted more than one row in the table on the Supervisor tab page, specify the current row that applies to this user today.

    Note Note

    Only one row can be current. You cannot create a row with the same date in the Valid From column as an existing row. If dates in the Valid From and Valid To columns overlap another row, the system marks the row with the value in the Valid From column that is closest to today as current.
