SAP ME WIP and ODS Database Configuration

On this screen, you provide information that is used to configure WIP and ODS database pools.

Fields

The following table describes fields requiring explanation:

Field	Description
WIP Database
Host	Enter the host name of the system on which WIP database for SQLSERVER or ORACLE is deployed.
Port	Enter the port number of the system on which WIP database for SQLSERVER or ORACLE is deployed.
User	Enter the WIP user name. This user will be used for all communication between WIP database and SAP ME.
Password	Enter the password associated with the WIP user. Note Do not use $ and \ in your password. These characters are not supported in database passwords. End of the note.
Database Name	Enter the SQLSERVER database name.
Instance	Enter the SQLSERVER database instance name. Note Instance is optional; if you enter the instance value, port number will not be used. End of the note.
SID	Enter the ORACLE SID.
ODS Database
Host	Enter the host name of the system on which ODS database for SQLSERVER or ORACLE is deployed.
Port	Enter the port number of the system on which ODS database for SQLSERVER or ORACLE is deployed.
User	Enter the ODS user name. This user will be used for all communication between ODS database and SAP ME.
