Function documentationTransfer of Production Order with Document Info Records

 

This function enables the transfer of document info records attached to a production order in SAP ERP to create a Production shop order and work instructions attached to the shop order operations in SAP ME (see Work Instruction).

Integration

You can use this function with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 6 or higher.

Prerequisites

  • You have created and released a document info record of the type PRT or Non-PRT using a routing (transaction CV01N) in SAP ERP.

  • You have set up ALE communication to create and transmit LOIPRO02 IDocs (see Customizing for ALE for Communication with SAP ME).

  • You have defined a DRF Replication Model to replicate LOIPRO02 IDocs (in Customizing for Production, choose Start of the navigation path Integration with a Manufacturing Execution System Next navigation step Basic Settings for MES Integration End of the navigation path). Activities

  • You create a production order either manually (transaction CO01) or update the existing production order (transaction CO02) (see Creating a Production Order).

  • You attach one or more document info records to a production order header by entering the document type.

    Note Note

    Document info record must be of Non-PRT type, if attached to the production order header.

    Alternatively, you can attach one or more document info records to an operation of a production order by entering the operation and document type.

  • You save the production order after attaching the document info records.

  • You send the production order to SAP ME (transaction POIT).

  • SAPMEINT creates the following records in SAP ME:

    • Production shop order with operations and attachment points for the work instructions

    • Routing

    • Operations

    • Work instructions
