Trigger Quantity Signal 
Use
Instead of triggering the kanban signal by setting a kanban to Empty , you can use the Kanban with Quantity Signal function to withdraw quantities from the kanban containers of a control cycle and have the system set the kanban to Empty automatically.
The setting of the kanban to "Full" is effected quite normally with the kanban signal "Status to 'Full'".
Note
In the case of the quantity signal, only the actual quantity of the kanban is updated - no stock posting is carried out. The stock posting is carried out if the material is backflushed.
Procedure
In the Kanban menu, choose
Control 
Kanban Signal Quantity Signal. 
Specify one of the following selection options:
Bar code
Kanban identification number
Control cycle number and kanban number
Material, plant, and production supply area
Enter the withdrawal quantity.
Save your entries.
Result
If only the actual quantity of a kanban changes, the success message " Quantity was debited directly " appears.
If the status of a kanban is additionally changed in the background, the kanban appears with its new status in the list of processed kanbans.
Note
If you want to use the quantity signal, you do not have to make any changes to Kanban Customizing or Kanban master data. The process with the quantity signal is realized exclusively through the use of the "Quantity Signal" function. The kanban signal and the quantity signal can be combined in any way you want.
