You can use this process to change the graphic display of the sequence schedule. For example, from Sequencing, you can choose an order profile and change the characteristic values of the order characteristics assigned to the order profile.

You first define the order characteristics and their possible values in Customizing for Sequencing and assign them to an order profile.

Integration

You define the graphic display for Sequencing by creating a visualization profile in Customizing for Sequencing. You can create several visualization profiles for different purposes. The visualization profile is user-specific. When you access the sequence schedule for the first time, the system automatically assigns the visualization profile STANDARD to your user. Then, in the sequence schedule, you can specify another visualization profile in your user-specific settings and, if necessary, you can make changes to this profile.

Process

  1. Defining Order Characteristics in Customizing for Sequencing

In Customizing for Sequencing, define the order characteristics you want to use to graphically display the status of a planned order. To do this, specify a characteristic group which controls the values of the order characteristic and the fields of an table which provides the value. If, for example, you want to visualize delivery problems, choose the group “date difference” and calculate this difference by subtracting the production finish date from the material provision date.

  2. Define the order profile in Customizing for Sequencing.

    1. Quick info text

Choose whether the system is to display the number of the planned order, the material number or the sales order number in the quick info text. The info text appears when you move the cursor over an order.

    2. Line-On/Line-Off View of Orders

For line segments with several takts, choose whether you want the system to display the planned orders at the time of the first takt (line-on view) or at the time of the last takt (line-off view). You can change this setting directly in the sequence schedule.

  3. Assigning Order Characteristics

In Customizing for Sequencing, you can assign up to three order characteristics to your order profile. Then you can assign each of these characteristics different colors depending on the characteristic value. Then, in the order bar of the planned orders, the system displays three graphic elements in the corresponding color. You can also change the characteristic values and the color assignment directly in the sequence schedule.

  4. Changing the Visualization Profile

Assign the order profile you just defined to your user-specific visualization profile and enter the column width of a day. Using the No. of rows, you can determine how many rows per day the system displays for a line segment.

Result

The changes you make to the graphic display of the sequence schedule take effect immediately.
