Conversion with SAP Visual Enterprise Generator 
You use this component for conversion of original Computer Aided Design (CAD) files into various file formats such as .RH, .JPG, and so on, and 3D visualization through the SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Viewer.
You send documents from Document Management (DM) to the SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Generator for conversion. SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Generator returns the converted documents to DM storage. These documents contain a metadata identifier that links the converted document and SAP business data.
You can display the models from the documents through the SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Viewer. Metadata identifiers tagged to the models enable the business application to display the associated viewables from DM in the side panel in the form of thumbnail and 3D viewer.
In the viewer application, the Business Context viewer (BCV) side panel displays the graphical data elements and their configured business context. This enables you to understand the use of the element in different SAP applications.
Implementation Considerations
SAP Conversion Server is not required for the process.

Display converted documents in DM using SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Viewer or SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author. The metadata identifier associated with the files enables you to display the relevant graphical and text data for the converted document.
