You use this activity to define various types of production days.

To define a new type of production day, do the following:
On the Production Shift Maintenance screen, enter the name of the new day type and a description that helps identify it later on.
Specify one or more production shifts for this date type by inserting new rows in the table and entering the following data:

The calendar day (Actual Day, Shift Start Day, or Shift End Day) to which this shift's work is to be attributed. In most cases, Actual Day (the default) is the appropriate value. The value of Shift Start Day or Shift End Day is used for situations in which the shift spans midnight, so you can specify the day to which the work is attributed. |
