 Comparing 3D Models Locate this document in the navigation structure

Use

You may be required to compare 3D models for various reasons. The two models are superimposed as if they were slides. The Compare Models function supports you when you are making a 3 Color Comparison , or a Spacing-Related Comparison of 3D models.

Prerequisites

At least two models for comparison exist for a document info record. You display the 3D model with the integrated viewer in the standard SAP system.

Procedure

The viewer function bar is active.

  1. Select   Tools   Compare Models   .

  2. The system adapts the function bar for the new functions.

    For example, icons ( ) Object 1 and ( ) Object 2 tell you whether the two comparison objects have been selected.

  3. Choose the comparison function, for example ( ) 3 Color.

  4. If you want to check one model more in greater detail, display the comparison object separately. To do this choose ( ) Display Comparison Object 1.

  5. To return to the viewer function bar, choose ( ) .
