Use

You use this procedure to create folders for BSP and Web Dynpro applications in the MIME Repository. The MIME folders for BSP applications are created automatically. The MIME folders for Web Dynpro applications are created when you import the first MIME object. You create additional folders if you have a large number of MIME objects and need to organize them.

Procedure
  1. In the Object Navigator (transaction SE80), start the MIME Repository Browser or display the object list for the BSP or the Web Dynpro application you want to edit.
  2. Choose the MIME folder and in the context menu, choose Create → Folder.

    The Create New Folder screen appears.

  3. Enter a name and a short description for the folder you want to create.
  4. Choose Save.
  5. Assign the folder to a package and choose Save.

    The new MIME folder appears in the browser.

    Note

    To make application-specific MIME objects available to all BSP or Web Dynpro applications, you can store them in one of the following subfolders:

    • /SAP/BC/BSP/[namespace]/PUBLIC for BSP applications
    • /SAP/BC/WebDynpro/[namespace]/PUBLIC for Web Dynpro applications.
