In the sequence schedule , you can change the processing profile defined in the line hierarchy, the planning segment and the visualization segments for the planning view and the control view.
You are planning production for a production line for which you have maintained a sort buffer in the first hierarchy level.
The following example shows for which line segments you can specify a processing profile or which line segments you can select as the planning segment or the visualization segment:
( )
In the standard system, the header of the line hierarchy (that is, the work center created for the production line) is set as the planning and visualization segment.
Planning segment
In this example, you can define segment 1 as the planning segment, for example. Then the system uses segment 1 for scheduling and displays segment 1 in the lower section of the screen at the material data instead of the production line.
Visualization segment for planning
You can select segment 1 and segment 4 as the visualization segment for planning. Then the system displays a separate row for the dates of these two segments in the sequence schedule.
Processing profile
You can specify a different processing profile (for example, "first-in-first-out", and "manual") for segments 1 and 4. Then you can change the sequence of the planned orders after the sort buffer.
Visualization segments for control
You can select any line segment for the control view of the sequence schedule. The system then automatically selects further line segments so that the complete production line is covered.
You can display the line hierarchy from the sequence schedule by choosing
In the sequence schedule, you can instruct the system to display information on a visualization segment by selecting one and by choosing ( ) .
