Changing the Kerberos Principal Name for a Kerberos Realm

Prerequisites

Before changing the Kerberos Principal Name (KPN) for a Kerberos realm, make sure that all Key Distribution Centers (KDC) for this realm are configured for the new KPN.

Procedure

Start the SPNego configuration application.

For more information, see Starting the SPNego Configuration Application .
Select a Kerberos realm and choose the Edit pushbutton.
Enter the new name and password in the Principal Name and Principal Password fields.
Save your entries.
