You can use the CHECK_RESOURCE_SETUP hook point activity to prevent the Start of an SFC number in the POD under conditions controlled by activity rule settings. For more information, see Resource Setup and POD Button Activities.
This activity is used at the resource, operation, or routing step level with the PRE_START, PRE_BATCH_START, and PRE_VALIDATE_START hook points.
The following table describes rules and settings that you can change for this activity in Activity Maintenance:

SHOP_ORDER | YES: Validates Shop Order values. If the shop order in Resource Setup and one of the SFC numbers are different, does not allow an operator to start the SFC number NO (default): Does not perform this validation |
SO_MATERIAL_MISSING | YES: Validates the Shop Order and Material values in Resource Setup. If neither the shop order or the material is present, does not allow an operator to start the SFC number NO (default): Does not perform this validation |
CHECK_SLOT_QUANTITY | YES: Validates that there is at least one loaded Active inventory ID with slot quantity greater than zero and in the Available status NO (default): Does not perform this validation |
