Use

The main output list of the Electronic Data Transmission to Authorities administration report lists the returns for each organization and period.

In the receipt log for the return, you can display the sent and received XML logs using stylesheetsin the browser (internet explorer), in the SAP List Viewerand in the XML Viewer.

Prerequisites

To display the detailed data of a return in an internet browser, you must have imported the official stylesheet of the authority into the SAP system.

  1. To do this, you first save the stylesheet of the authority as a file on a local PC. You can download the most current stylesheet (that is available for SAP) from the SAP Service Market Place at service.sap.com/elster-fin . This is the file USTVA.XSL for the advance return on sales/purchases.

  2. To import the stylesheet into the SAP system, in the menu of the administration report, choose   Settings   Import Stylesheet   .

Note the following restrictions:

  • The stylesheet is saved as an XSLT program in the system. The changes affect all clients. So you can only import it into systems in which changes are allowed to be made (usually development systems).

  • The user who imports the stylesheet needs developer authorization (S_DEVELOP).

  • The stylesheet must be attached to a transport request. The transport request must be of the type Transport of Copies . The connection with the transport request means that the stylesheet (XSLT program) can be transported to all affected systems.

  • When the stylesheet is imported for the first time, the XSLT program is regenerated in the system. Importing the stylesheet again always overwrites the current stylesheet if you confirm the confirmation prompt. There is no versioning of the stylesheets.

  • You can only import the stylesheet on the output list of the administration report. If no reporting data is generated in the system, you can still execute the administration report. The output list then remains empty.

Procedure

Display Receipt Log in the Browser with Stylesheet  

  • To display the detailed data of the return, in the receipt log choose ( ) with the quick info text Display Detailed Data Formatted .

  • An internet browser window appears in which the prepared contents of the return are displayed.

    Note Note

    Note that this display is always based on saved data. If you have made changes to reporting data, you must first save the data before you can display it in the browser. You do not need to restart the administration report for this.

Display Sent XML Data

There are two ways to display the transfer and receipt detailed data of the return in the receipt log :

  • For the classic list, choose ( ) List Viewe r.

    The technical log output is divided into two areas. The receipt log for the return is displayed in the upper area. The generated XML file that was transferred to the authority is displayed below it.

  • For the XML display, choose ( ) XML Viewer.

    You can display each log individually with this display.
