Enabling Tracing in the Mobile Client for LaptopsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

Tracing allows you to record in a log file the details of errors that you encounter when using the mobile client for laptops.

You can send the trace files to the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE), where the administrator can analyze them to identify the cause of the errors.

Procedure
  1. On the mobile client for laptops homepage, choose Settings.
  2. On the Trace tab, select the Enable Trace indicator.
  3. In the Objects to Trace field, select the required trace level.

    This determines the severity of the message to be logged in the trace file.

  4. Choose Save.
