Node Types

Each node type performs a different function and various data can be maintained accordingly in the detailed view. You create format trees for outgoing and incoming DME files using some of the same nodes, while others are unique. For additional information on nodes and when to use certain node types, choose  Extras Node legend on the DMEE: Create/Change Format Tree <format tree> screen. The system displays the appropriate node legend, depending on which type of format tree you are in.
