You have the option of also using Kanban for the replenishment strategies "stock transfer" and "in-house production" on a cross-plant basis. In the case of in-house production, you can thus directly trigger production in the production plant.

Procurement and Withdrawal to Cost Center

It is also possible to procure materials that are not included in the assembly BOM, and are therefore not backflushed, via Kanban. This so-called bulk material, which you cannot assign exactly to an assembly, is posted to a cost center.

Kanban with SD Delivery

You can deliver a kanban directly to your customer. While you normally supply your own production with kanban materials, this process enables you to forward the procured materials directly to your customer.
