You can use this function to drag operations and draw lines in the same routing record in Routing Maintenance.

The following figure depicts an example of a branched routing:

When an operator at the TEST operation completes an SFC number, it can go to either the PACK step or the ANALYSIS step. Since there are two possible next steps, the system displays a screen for the operator to choose the next operation. Then the system places the SFC number in queue there.

Note that you can also branch to another routing you previously defined.

You can control movement of SFC numbers using the following:

  • NC codes

  • Scripting
