Deleting Work Centers, Setting Deletion Flags Locate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

You can only delete a work center if it is not in use. You cannot delete work centers that are used in objects, which have been logically deleted but are still in the database (for instance operations). A deleted work center cannot be archived, since it is no longer in the database.

If a work center is still in use, you can mark for deleting by setting a deletion flag. A work center with a deletion flag can no longer be assigned. You can however remove the deletion flag. You do not need to set a deletion flag to archive or delete a work center.

Procedure

Deleting

From the Basic Data view in the Change work center screen choose   Work center   Delete.

Setting and removing deletion flags

From the Basic Data view in the Change work center screen choose   Extras   Status   Deletion flag.

Note Note

You can use deletion flags as a selection criterion for the work centers to be deleted in the next reorganization run.

End of the note.
