Use

In this activity, you create authorization profiles for the people involved in the withholding tax changeover. To create these profiles, use the authorization object Financial Accounting: Withholding Tax Changeover (F_WTMG) provided by SAP.

Recommendation Recommendation

Once the withholding tax changeover is completed, take the precaution of withdrawing the change authorization for all the users involved.

This prevents the conversion being started while the system is being used for normal day-to-day activities, for example.

Procedure

  1. In the Implementation Guide for Financial Accounting , choose Financial Accounting Global Settings → Maintain Authorizations .

  2. Make the required Customizing settings.

The authorization object can be found in the Financial Accounting object class under the object name Withholding Tax Changeover .
