 Communication: RFC and TRFC Locate this document in the navigation structure

Communication between an optimization system and the SAP system is possible using Remote Function Call (RFC). An RFC is a communication technique developed by SAP in order to provide an easier transfer of data between different systems.

In transactional RFCs, the data is saved temporarily before being sent so that the application and communication are balanced out.
