An incident number is assigned when a primary NC code is logged against an SFC number. The same number is assigned to all secondary NC codes associated with the primary NC code. Using incident numbers, you can group or organize nonconformances to help identify problem areas in your production process. If you use incident numbers, they appear in the Log NC Report.
