Electronic Data Transmission to Authorities

Use

You can transfer encrypted data to an authority with this function. For example, you can select and edit reporting data for the advance return for tax on sales/purchases and transfer it to the tax authority.

Prerequisites

You need to have made settings in Customizing and additional settings to use this function. For more information, see the section Set Up Electronic Communication with Authorities under Setting Up Electronic Advance Tax Returns .
If you use this function to transfer your advance return for tax on sales/purchases electronically, you first need to have created the reporting data that you want to transfer. For more information, see Advance Tax Return: Selecting Reporting Data .

You have assigned the authorizations to edit and transfer returns to the user of the report.

Features

The electronic data transmission to authorities (FOT_B2A_ADMIN) administration report is available for this function.

Once you have selected the returnsto be transferred, the following functions are available in the output list:

Display details on the contents of the returns and perform a comparison of the parameters with Customizing
Change return amounts in the details for the advance return for tax on sales/purchases

You can change the return amounts or add new IDs for the return type advance return for tax on sales/purchases if no external data exists in the SAP system.
Select and transfer returns
Display receipt logs in XML format to check whether the authority has received the packages
Display/change the status for individual returns and analyze and correct errors

Activities

On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Accounting Financial Accounting General Ledger Reporting Electronic Communication with Authorities Administration Report Data Transmission.

Enter the following data on the selection screen:

Leading company code
Return type (for example, 0001 advance return for tax on sales/purchases)
Reporting period divided into reporting period and reporting year
Whether you want to select all returns or only new returns to be transferred
Choose the output layout and whether the change information should be displayed

You can also automate the process of transferring data by scheduling the report in the background. In the report log or later in online mode, you can get status management to inform you whether all data was transferred successfully.
