Use

You can use this function when posting the goods receipt for a finished part (assembly) if the "actual" data of the components used differs from that specified in the production version and BOM. You can change the detailed data of a component, add components to an assembly or delete components.

The change only applie to the current goods receipt posting because the system reexplodes the BOMs at the time of each posting.

Integration

You can use this function for make-to-stock production, make-to-order production, production by lots or for kanban materials. You can also use it for in the case of a reporting point confirmation.

If "actual" components are being posted, the goods issue of the components is posted immediately, even if you have set decoupling of the confirmation.

Features

  • You can change the detail data of a component (if you want to withdraw it from a different production storage location for example).

  • You can add components if an unplanned consumption of material has occurred during production. You can also delete a component and add an alternative part instead.

  • You can delete components that have not been consumed.
