For the system to be able to display browser-based PI sheets and process manufacturing cockpits correctly, we recommend that you have installed Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 5 or higher. You must also be using a Microsoft operation system.
Browser-based PI sheets and process manufacturing cockpits do not work with the SAP GUI for Java or the SAP GUI for HTML. .
In addition, we recommend that you make the security settings described below in your Internet Explorer.
In the Internet Explorer menu choose
.Choose the Security tab page.
Choose the Web content zone Internet .
Choose Custom Level ...
Make the following settings in the Security Settings dialog box.

Because the settings E nable or Prompt represent a security risk for the function Download Signed ActiveX Controls , you should use it only until SAP Note 566692 (context menu in the PI sheet) has been applied. After this, it you are advised to use the Disable setting.

Note the following:
All browser settings you make in your Internet Explorer automatically take effect in the browser-based PI sheet and Process Manufacturing Cockpit , too.
Certain commonly used keyboard functions, (such as F4), may have a different result or may not be available at all in the browser-based PI sheet and cockpit.
