Background documentationPost Split/Serialize - Copy SFC Data Locate this document in the navigation structure

You can use the SFC999 hook point activity to copy or move the SFC data from the original SFC number to the new SFC numbers that result from a serialization, split, or relabel (see SFC Number).

If an operator splits, serializes, or relabels the entire quantity of an SFC number to a new SFC number, the system moves SFC data records from the original SFC number to the new SFC number. If an SFC number split or serialization results in multiple SFC numbers, the system copies SFC data records from the original SFC number to the new SFC numbers.

Note that the SFC data is copied or moved only if the Copy SFC Data system rule is set to true and this activity is enabled at the site level.

This activity is commonly used with the POST_SPLIT and POST_SERIALIZE hook points.
