Default Capacity 
You can define a default capacity for each capacity category in a plant in Customizing Work centers under Define default capacity.
Default values for the data in the header screen of capacity maintenance are entered in default capacities.
When you create a capacity, the system automatically transfers data from the default capacity to the capacity.
Note
Descriptions (short and long text) are not transferred from the default capacity.

Default capacities are used exclusively for copying default values. They do not have an object ID.
