Data Parameter 
A particular attribute of a data collection group for which data is collected.
Data parameters are assigned to DC groups (see DC Group). The same data parameter can appear in multiple DC groups.
The system supports the following limit types for a data parameter:
General (min and max) (see Data Collection Maintenance)
Specification (see SPC Chart Maintenance)
Control (see SPC Chart Maintenance)
