Definition

Grouping of planned orders and process orders to produce a certain amount of a material over a certain period of time. This is done in an uninterrupted sequence on one production line.

Structure

A production campaign consists of:

  • A header

  • Campaign items:

  • Production charges (planned orders and process orders) that are produced on one production line

  • Setup, clean-out, and teardown processes that are represented in the system by process orders that are not material-related
