Document Processing on the Web UI 
Document on the Web UI enables you to create, change, and display document info records (DIRs) and to process originals on the PLM Web UI.
Prerequisites
Although document processing takes place on the PLM Web UI, some of the back-end Customizing settings that are required for document management on the SAP GUI are also required for document management on the PLM Web UI. In addition, the same objects are used in both environments (for example, document info records).
