You can make a number of settings for the appearance, functions, and printing of the list. The Settings dialog box is available for this purpose. You can find a more detailed description of which settings you can make in the sections on the different functions.
You can apply the settings to the list in different ways:
Apply settings without closing the dialog box
Apply settings and close dialog box
Cancel
You end the work in the dialog box and close it without applying the settings to the list.

An area is displayed above the list which contains the tab pages and other interface elements for defining properties. The list can set up so that the dialog box is not displayed as an area in the application window but as an independent dialog box. |

Choose Accept in the dialog box. |
The settings are applied to the list, the dialog box stays open. In this way you can, for example, comapre the effects of different settings without having to open the dialog box every time. If the list is displayed as an independent dialog box then you can only see the effects of new settings when you close the dialog box. |

Choose OK in the dialog box. |
The settings are applied to the list. The dialog box is closed. |
Cancel |
Choose Cancel in the dialog box. |
The settings of the list are not changed. The dialog box is closed. |
