Configuring the Sync SettingsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

The sync settings are a prerequisite for synchronizing your device with the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE). They determine the data flow over the connection to the DOE. A data packaging option and a proxy host can also be selected. A sync log provides a technical summary of the last synchronization with the DOE.

Procedure


  1. From the Menu , choose Start of the navigation path Manage Device  Next navigation step  Settings  Next navigation step  Sync Settings End of the navigation path.

  2. In the Sync Settings view, select Data packaging required , if necessary.

    If you select to enable data packaging, enter:

    • Size inbound [kb]

      Enter the required inbound data package size in kilobytes.

    • Size outbound [kb]

      Enter the required outbound data package size in kilobytes.

    Ask your administrator for the suited data package sizes.

  3. Select Proxy enabled , if required.

    If you select to enable a proxy host, enter:

    • Host

      Enter the address of the proxy host.

    • Port

      Enter the port number of the proxy host.

    Ask your administrator for the data.

  4. Click Save .
