Navigating with Hotkeys

For those users who prefer not to, or cannot, navigate with a mouse, the portal supports navigation using hotkeys. The hotkeys become available when you set the accessibility flag. For information about the accessibility flag, see Accessibility in the Portal.

Depending on the way in which portal administrators have set up the portal, your portal may use different hotkeys than those described here.

`ALT`+`T`	Navigates directly to the top-level navigation area
`ALT`+`N`	Navigates directly to the navigation panel area
`ALT`+`C`	Navigates directly to the content area
numpad plus (`+`) / numpad minus(`-`)	Expands/collapses the navigation panel area
numpad plus (`+`) / numpad minus(`-`)	Widens/narrows the navigation panel area
Right arrow key	Opens a folder
Left arrow key	Closes a folder

`SHIFT`+`F10`	Opens a context menu (when navigating through the tree control)
`F6`	Skips a large element when you are currently inside it. For example, skip radio button groups, tables, trays, or top-level navigation.
`SHIFT`+`F6`	Returns to the beginning of a large element, when you are currently inside it
