Definition

Like a button, a link is a user interface element that you can use to execute an assigned function, such as a reference to a document. A link is represented as a text or an image or both, and is usually underlined. You use a link to call up new information.

Use

When the link has the focus, you can use Enter to activate the link function.

Access

Links support sequential element navigation. This means that you can move the focus forwards to a link using Tab or backwards using Shift + Tab.

Help Functions

If the link has a tooltip, you can call it up by choosing Ctrl + q.
