Additional Functions for Object Links on SAP GUI

This section of the documentation is relevant only for document management (DM) on the SAP GUI. For information about creating long texts for object links on the PLM Web UI, see Creating Long Texts for Object Links on PLM Web UI.
We recommend in certain situations that you enter additional information for the links. You could, for example, also enter a customer for the link Document (such as document type Design drawing) and material (Product: Pump) when this special contract.
Integration
These individual functions are active when the object link supports additional functions.
Prerequisites
The additional functions must active in Customizing Document management for the document type and the special object. To do this go to
