Creating a Routing by Copying 
Use
You can reduce the effort required to create a routing by copying another routing completely or partially.
Prerequisites
The source exists in the system.
Features
The source and the new routing can belong to different company codes . The company codes must, however, belong to the same controlling area. In particular, the source and routing to be created can belong to different plants. The data are copied from the source to the routing being created. However be aware of the following exceptions and special features.
Copying from a Source in Another Plant
Plant-dependent data are handled in the following manner when copying between plants:
In the case of the materials to be produced by the routing, the reference to the plant of the source is kept in the new routing.
All other data are copied with reference to the plant of the new routing.
The data on the detail screens of the routing objects are checked. You have to change the data, if an entry
Does not exist in the plant of the new routing
Does not agree with the work center data in the plant of the new routing
