You can broadcast the Web application to other users by e-mail or in the portal by using Broadcast and Export in the context menu. Alternatively you can schedule the Web application for printing or export it to Microsoft Excel.
By default, the following functions are available in the context menu under Broadcast and Export.

Broadcast by E-Mail |
If you want to broadcast the Web application by e-mail, select Broadcast and Export → Broadcast E-Mail. You can schedule the Web application to be precalculated at a predefined time or you can have it sent to the required recipients as an online link. The Broadcasting Wizard appears and provides step-by-step instructions to help you make the necessary entries for broadcasting. |
Broadcast to Portal |
If you want to store the Web application on the portal as a precalculated file or as an online link, choose Broadcast and Export → Broadcast to Portal. The Broadcasting Wizard appears and provides step-by-step instructions to help you make the necessary entries for broadcasting. |
Broadcast to Printer |
If you want to schedule the Web application for printing, choose Broadcast and Export → Broadcast to Printer. The Broadcasting Wizard appears and provides step-by-step instructions on how to make the necessary entries. |
Export to Excel |
Choose Broadcast and Export → Export to Excel to export data from the analysis table to Microsoft Excel. The query data is embedded in the same way as queries in BEx Analyzer (the Business Explorer analysis tool integrated into Microsoft Excel): The navigational state is retained and the formatting is applied. The filter restrictions and the data are displayed in the table. Exceptions are highlighted in color. In addition, you can use the BEx functions in the BEx Analyzer to continue navigating. In the analysis grid or navigation pane of a Web application, choose Broadcast and Export in the context menu for a particular cell.
