You use this activity to assign NC codes to an NC group (see NC code).

The following NC groups are loaded during the initial data load:

  • Assembly

  • Component

  • Placement

  • Termination

This activity allows you to do the following:

  • Create NC groups

  • Define operations at which the NC group is available

  • Override system rules at the NC group level

Note Note

To load the NC groups and their associated NC codes during the initial data load, you must answer Yes to the DPMO question during installation. If you answer No to the DPMO question, the standard NC codes and DPMO NC groups are not loaded.

End of the note.
