The prices in the cost estimate are those that were valid either when the cost estimate was created or when the Revaluate function was last used.
If the master data changes, this data is not automatically updated in unit costing. However, you can revaluate the costing items so that they reflect the current prices.
You can revaluate the following:
All items
Selected items only
Items of a certain item category only, such as all material items or all base planning objects (this is not possible in Easy Cost Planning)
Note
Costing items are revaluated automatically if you execute the functions Explode base planning object, Material explosion, Create cost estimate with reference or Copy cost estimate... (this is not possible in Easy Cost Planning).
Note
The Revaluate function is not available for the detailed planning of a cost element.
You are in the list screen of the unit cost estimate.
Decide which items in the unit cost estimate you want to revaluate.
To revaluate all items, choose
You do not need to select any items. To revaluate only certain items, select the items and choose
.To revaluate only items of a certain category (such as materials and internal activities), choose
.Note
Revaluation by item category is not available in Easy Cost Planning.
Save the cost estimate and, if applicable, the reference object (such as the base planning object or sales order).
The relevant items are revaluated with the current prices based on the valuation variant.
If you revaluated all items, the raw material cost estimate and the overhead are also recalculated.
If you revaluated selected items only, the overhead is only recalculated when the cost estimate is saved or if you choose
.If you changed costing items manually, the system sets the Manual Price indicator. Such items are not revaluated.
