You use this activity to set up user-defined preferences for activities the user was assigned permissions to execute. These activities and functions include the following:
Activity Manager display
Printer specifications
Product Workbench options
Supervisor users
Device History Report options
Note that you have to enter your password to retrieve the data and modify it.
The following table describes rules and settings that you can change for this activity in Activity Maintenance:

DEFAULT_DISPLAY | EXPANDED (default): Displays all activity groups and activities within the application tree structure upon login COLLAPSED: Displays only activity groups within the application tree structure upon login The user will have to expand each group manually to view activities. |

If a printer is defined in User Preference Maintenance, the system uses that printer instead of a printer defined in POD Maintenance and for ADS Document Print (SY521) in Activity Maintenance.
