Sorting according to urgency with tracking limit maximum empty

In this case, urgency is the quotient resulting from the number of empty kanbans in the control cycle divided by the total number of kanbans in the control cycle.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

Urgency with tracking limit is calculated according to the following formula:

=number of empty kanbans - tracking limit maximum empty number of kanbans in control cycle

All kanbans with the following statuses are regarded as "empty":

Waiting

Empty

In transit

In process

Kanbans with errors do not count as "empty".

Choose ( ) ( Continue )

The plant overview appears.

You see the control cycles with the status of the kanbans. You see the number and percentage of the kanbans per status in a separate column. The kanbans are shown in different colors according to their status.Choose ( ) Legend to view the meaning.

You see the symbol ( ) ( Tracking Limit Exceeded ) if the control cycle exceeds the tracking limit maximum empty

The urgency value is calculated as a number between -1 and +1, whereby +1 represents maximum urgency.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

If the tracking limit maximum empty has not been maintained in the control cycle, the maximum value number of kanbans in control cycle is taken instead to calculate the urgency. In this case, the urgency value is always less than or equal to 0.
