 Displaying Errors Locate this document in the navigation structure

  1. On the KANBAN menu, choose   Evaluations   Error Display.  

    The system displays the initial screen of the error display report.

  2. The following selection criteria are available:

    • Demand Source; Limitations

      • Storage location

      • Supply areas

      • Person responsible for production

    • Replenishment Strategies; Limitations

      • In-house production

      • External procurement

      • Stock transfer

  3. Enter the selection criteria and choose  ( ) Execute .

  4. The system displays a list of the error messages based on your selection criteria.

Display Options

On the error display screen, you can view the following information:

  • To view the long text for the error message, position the cursor on the error line and choose  ( ) ( Display Long Text on Error Message) .

  • For information about the kanban and the replenishment strategy, position the cursor on the error line and choose  ( ) Kanban .

  • For information about the control cycle, position the cursor on the error line and choose  ( ) Control Cycle.

Processing Options

The following options are available for processing the error display:

  • To delete error messages, you can either

    • Select the appropriate lines and then choose   Edit   Delete Messages   All Selected Entries   or

    • Delete the messages up to a certain date

      To do this, choose   Edit   Delete Messages   All Until Date ...  

      The system displays a dialog box where you enter the appropriate date.

      Enter the date and choose Continue .

      The system deletes the error messages you selected.

      Caution Caution

      The error is not solved automatically simply because you have deleted the error message.

  • To reprocess a kanban, you can branch to the kanban correction functions.

    To do this, position the cursor on the appropriate line and choose   Goto   Kanban Correction   orchoose Kanban Correction.

    The system branches to the kanban correction screen. For more information, see Kanban Correction .
