 Defining Display Variants Locate this document in the navigation structure

Use

This procedure describes how you can save specific entries as display variants. Thus, you can predefine the staging type and further selection criteria (for example, plant, selection period and assembly) in the initial screen. You can also define the Global settings . You then save your data as a variant.

When you access this variant in the initial screen of the pull list, the fields are automatically filled as you defined previously. This enables you to access the list more quickly.

Procedure

  1. Starting from the main Repetitive Manufacturing menu, choose   Material staging   Pull list - trigger replenishment.  

  2. The system branches to the initial screen for the pull list.

  3. Select a Staging type .

  4. Enter a plant and a date up until which requirements are to be staged.

  5. Now, select the appropriate tab page and enter the selection criteria according to which the pull list is to be selected.

  6. Adjust the Global Settings if necessary . Here, you can also define the dialog control for the variant.

  7. Now save your entries as display variants, by choosing   Goto   Variants   Save as variant.  

  8. Now enter a variant name and description (long text).

  9. Make further entries in this screen as required.

  10. Choose Save .

Result

The system saves the variant. You can access this variant at any time from the initial screen of the pull list by choosing   Goto   Variants   Open   and then selecting the variant and choosing Execute . The system then sets the fields in the initial screen according to the variant. You can display the contents of the variant by choosing   Goto   Variants   Display.
