Use

The value flow display for activity types provides an overview of the activity quantities output at cost centers for production processes.

If you have calculated actual prices, this function shows which of the resulting price variances to allocate to the individual receivers, and how much has already been allocated. The value flow display for activity types is therefore ideal for analyzing balances on cost centers.

Features

This report displays the activities output by each cost center for the selected costing run. You can restrict the selected data to particular company codes, plants, cost center groups, cost centers, and/or activity types.

The report also shows which production processes used the activity output. You can see whether there is work in process ( WIP ) or whether the materials manufactured in the processes have been delivered to finished goods inventory.

The price variance to be allocated to a production process is calculated from the quantities output multiplied by the difference between the actual activity price and planned activity price. The price variance that is actually allocated is taken from the generated revaluation documents (document of multilevel price determination or WIP revaluation).

The revaluation column shows whether the receivers have been revaluated. If it has, you can access the associated document from there.

The closing entry column shows whether the closing entry for the receivers has been made. If it has, you can access the associated document from there.

The price variances to be allocated are not actually posted until the closing entry has been made.

Under Process , choose the button Activity Types . The Display Activity Types screen appears.
