Creating a New Warehouse Number for a Storage Location 
From the Material Categories Planning application, you can create a new warehouse number for a storage location, without leaving the workbench or switching to Customizing .
You are familiar with the Warehouse Management System component .

Call up the Material Categories Planning application (transaction /ISDFPS/LPL1).
Choose the Stock/Provisions tab page.
In the Stock Element or Provisions Element area, choose Display/Edit .
The Change MRP Area screen appears.
Choose the Stor. Loc. tab page.
Place your cursor in the Warehouse Number field of a row that is not empty and choose Create Warehouse No .
The Create Warehouse Number with Template screen appears.
Warehouse numbers are always created with a template. The template can be copied from the force element if a warehouse number is already assigned to the force element ( Force Element tab page). You have to enter the force element and a warehouse number that is assigned to the force element. Alternatively, the warehouse number can be copied from Customizing ( Customizing tab page).
The system calls up the Central Maintenance Dialog for the Warehouse Structure application.
You must create the complete warehouse structure for the warehouse number: Select a storage type and choose .
The Generate Storage Bins screen appears.
Assign a template number to the combination of warehouse number/storage type .
When you enter the template number, the system fills the Template Data and Storage Bin Data .
Choose Storage Bins .
The Automatic Creation of Storage Bins screen appears.
You can choose the following options:
If you want to track the creation of the storage bins in the system, choose Create Online .
If you want to trigger background processing, choose Create by Batch Inp .
Go back to the overview Central Maintenance Dialog for the Warehouse Structure .
Choose .
A new screen appears.
Choose Create Bins .
Report RLVST333 (standard) is executed. The system calls up this report once for each warehouse number to create the required storage bins. Interim storage bins are required for putting away and removing stock in WM, that is, for goods receipts and goods issues.
Go back to the overview Central Maintenance Dialog for the Warehouse Structure .
The storage bins you created in the previous step are visible.
Restart the Material Categories Planning application.
In the Stock Element or Provisions Element area, choose Display/Edit .
The Change MRP Area screen appears.
Assign the new warehouse number and save your entry.
Go back to the Material Categories Planning application.
Save your entries.
