Disaggregated Display of the MRP Segments Locate this document in the navigation structure

Use

When working with make-to-order production with SD scheduling agreements and when planning production lots, you can display information such as the available quantity of the individual segment, for example. You can also enter data directly in the individual cells which is then processed in the background as planned orders.

Prerequisites

  • In the initial screen of the planning table, you have to select the MRP segments you want the system to display.

  • In the initial screen, in the MRP segments tabstrip, you must select the option Disaggregated Display.

Features

  • Disaggregated display

Various production lots and various sales order items create various segments in the MRP list. Using the disaggregated display, you can now also display the availability, production, requirement and ranges of coverage rows per segment in the planning table. The planning table then contains a title row per segment as well as the various individual rows.

It only makes sense to use this display function if many requirements exist in one individual MRP segment.

This display is not suitable for individual sales orders as too many individual segments simply confuses the display.

Note Note

You can only use the disaggregated display of the MRP segments if you select by materials.

End of the note.
  • Aggregated display

In the aggregated display, the MRP segments are displayed cumulatively. For make-to-order production, this means that all the requirements, available quantities and production quantities of the individual segments are totaled.

Activities

You define the type of display you require in the initial screen in the MRP segments field.

However, you can change the display in the planning table.

For example, to display the aggregated view of the MRP segments, choose   View   MRP segments   Aggregate.
