Barcode Data Format Maintenance

You use this activity to define data formats and map data elements of parsed two-dimensional barcodes to SAP ME data fields. For more information, see Two-Dimensional (2D) Barcode Scanning.

Fields

The following table describes fields requiring explanation:

Field	Description
Data Format	The first element in parsed message string that specifies the format of data that follows. These codes are standard-based and defined by ISO Standard 15434. `06` (default): Specifies that all data to follow is identified with data identifiers (DIs). Data identifier examples include `1P`, `1T`, `17V`, `S`, and so on. These codes are also standard-based and are defined by ISO Standard ISO/IEC 15418. `Custom`: This value is reserved for next releases.
Data Qualifier	Identifies data elements in the parsed message string that are mapped with SAP ME data fields (see Data Field Definition Maintenance)
