Special Movement Types:
417 (Stock Transfer, Storage Location to Delivery) and 418 (Returns Stock Transfer, Storage Location to Delivery)
These movement types are used within the issuing company code for both the issuing and the receiving side. If you enter movement type 417 in transaction MIGO (Goods Receipt), the system posts the material from the valuated stock in transit of the issuing plant to the unrestricted-use stock of the issuing plant in the purchase order in question.
Movement type 418 is the corresponding return movement.
555 (Scrapping from Blocked Stock in Transit) and 556 (Return, Scrapping from Blocked Stock in Transit)
These movement types are used within the issuing company code for both the issuing and the receiving side. If you enter movement type 555 in transaction MIGO, the system posts the material out of the valuated stock in transit of the issuing plant and scraps it.
Movement type 556 is the corresponding return movement.
559 (Scrapping (or Goods Issue) from Valuated Goods Receipt Blocked Stock (Adjustment Posting)) and 560 (Return Scrapping (or Reversal to Goods Issue) from Valuated Goods Receipt Blocked Stock (Adjustment Posting))
These movement types are used within the receiving company code for both the issuing and the receiving side. If you enter movement type 559 in transaction MIGO, the system posts the material out of the valuated goods receipt blocked stock of the receiving plant and scraps it.
Movement type 560 is the corresponding return movement.
Caution
Only use this movement type after careful analysis to adjust wrongly-valuated goods receipt blocked stock as in the case above, for example, which is the result of a rounding error.
