Resource Setup

You use this activity to change the setup state for a time-based resource and specify which material, shop order, or tool is loaded on the resource. For more information, see Time-Based Genealogy

Fields

The following table describes fields requiring explanation:

Field	Description
Setup State	Current setup state of the resource: Breaking Down: Prevents work from being started at the resource, and indicates that the setup process for this resource is being reversed. For example, reels of components are being removed. Not Setup: Prevents work from being started at the resource, and indicates that the resource is not set up and is not in the process of being set up. Open: Allows work to be started at the resource, and indicates that the resource does not require to be set up. Setting Up: Prevents work from being started at the resource, and indicates that the resource is in the process of being set up. Set Up: Allows work to be started at the resource, and indicates that the resource is set up and ready for production.
Setup Type	Allows you to associate the resource with one or more materials, tool numbers, or a shop order
